Sports and exercise is my passion because it's had (and still has) such a huge impact in my life. I was an active kid who loved sports, playing games, and moving because it was fun and winning made it even better (lol!). My early years as an athlete began with tennis and taekwondo, and after that, I became a varsity track and field athlete.
I believe in always being a student, so I took up Sports Science in college, earned my EXOS ceritifcation as a Fitness Specialist and I'm finishing up on my Precision Nutrition Lvl 1 certification. Currently, I'm a coach and personal trainer for women, with the goal of changing the way fitness has been taught to us. I take pride in seeing my clients progress and do things they didn't think they could do, and I especially love helping them realize how strong they actually are. Being able to transfer my love and knowledge of exercise to others is my biggest accomplishment!
True to my self-proclaimed title of being a big Star Wars geek, I live by Yoda's mantra: "Do or do not, there is no try." Whether we're doing deadlifts, push-ups, planks, or whatever else, trying is always the key to getting it—and you can expect rap, R&B, pop, EDM, hip-hop, and a mix of everything to push us to keep going!
